Fuel to engine

I need a quick fix to ship a car, Problem seems to be a sending unit on a 68 383 fury, we are getting no fuel out of the tank, put new pump on, bypassed the line to the overflow and it ran about 10 minutes now no fuel again. before i get railed the buyer is well aware of the full fix but he has paid the shipping already and i am not wanting to put too much into a $1700 car

make sure you dont have a break in the line. sounds like you do. cap one end of the line near the carb and run some air through the other side near the tank. if you hear air you got a hole...i had the same problem last week on my 69' swinger..line was torn right at the tank sending unit..so my pump was sucking nothing but air...!!!

Sorry but you lost me at " bypassed the line to the overflow"
Is it possible the tank is not vented ? Maybe take off the filler cap and fuel flows again. Just guessing. Good luck
