Saw the post on LVLP guns and I wondered what size projects you folks are working on, and would you DIY your project with LVLP again.
I am considering attempting to do the full paint job on our 54 Chevy wagon. Chevy project does not start until our 67 B’cuda is complete (summer?). I am considering taking the DIY leap because I have shattered my budget on the 67 (oops).
The Chevy will get media blasted, epoxy primer...all the usual, then single stage white polyurethane. White is the original color. It is a family vehicle that will once again lug kids and dogs, and is not intended to knock you dead at a car show.
Anyhow, LVLP spray gun users, how big was your DIY project, what gun, how did project turn out, and would you do it again?
