Did you know I have terrible eye sight ?
My prescription is negative 10 in both eyes
(Oddly enough, both eyes are exactly as bad, so I dont even mark my contact lenses)
How did i decided to wear contacts?

You see, i was 16 when I got my first girlfriend, she was the cousin of a friend of mine and from several towns over
One of our first dates we went swimming and because she barely knew me, she brought a friend along
I had left my glasses in the locker room and her and her friend looked close enough (same height, same hair) I could not tell the difference without my glasses on !
The very next day I went and got contacts

BTW - I'm right there with you, My eyes have been bad since I was young. If I wore my glasses in the pool my head would sink to the bottom.

My wife had a Chinese co-worker that was a mother. She was a good natured woman so she took humor well. She once said that she didn't want to take her kid with her to Chinatown because if he strayed off, she'd never be able to find him since everyone there looked alike.

When you hear people talk of diversity, think about THIS...
What is more diverse than Caucasians? We come in several hair colors, several eye colors, different skin tones too.
Asians, Arabs, Black people and Hispanics usually always are dark haired with dark eyes unless they are mixed with Caucasians.
