I know that the Monty Python stuff was wildly popular with some people but it absolutely fell flat with me. I found nothing funny about any of it while others around me busted a gut laughing.
It really is strange how our preferences can be so different. Neither of us is wrong, just different.

My wife and I were watching Droopy dog herding sheep cartoon. A cow comes up to the rancher: Moo Moo Baa Baa! whatta tryin to tell me? Sheep you darn fool!
She just about fell off the sofa laughin'. I wouldn't find it funny except for her reaction. Now we hear "moomoo baabaa" around the house along with laughter.
And don't forget Lula's burp in the grocery store...I laugh so hard I cry!

i get it man, i have friend who are on exactly the same wavelenght as me, with everything except for napolean dynamite
i always felt it was an american attempt at british humor and it does absolutely nothing for me
they think its hilarious
best i can figure, i quit smoking the ganja before i first saw that movie, and they quit smoking it after
ever hear the interrupting cow knock knock joke?
its about what you would expect from a knock knock joke, but its become a bit of an inside joke at our house
whenever one of the kids keeps interrupting us, me and the wife will go "MOOOH" and that usually shuts em up

So true, while I still find it hilarious, as does most of my family, my wife is completely unimpressed with it.

Or North Carolina. Back in the mid 1980s, I was delivering a truckload of GE transformers to a freshly paved lot near Phoenix. The local radio station was reporting the temperature as 117°F. I was surpised that it was bearable.
