What if you just restore a Canadian car ?

(Not being a jerk, just uninformed...are there Canadian car makers ?)
GMC, and as far as I know all North American auto manufacturers built parts and cars on both sides of the border to satisfy American and Canadian content laws

But that doesn't count, that's an American company

That's almost as ridiculous as those guys claiming toyota is an American vehicle because its build in corntucky...its just the vehicular equivalent of an anchor baby

What I mean is, are there any Canadian car manufacturers, founded by Canadians on Canadian soil?

The Bricklin was 100% Canadian built in the maritimes of canada but there’s an American with the same last name of the car involved so don’t know would be my answer

Never heard of that one, Ill have to look it up

Being Dutch, we got Spyker still out there and Daf, which is only making semis now

Daf was well ahead of its time with its "variomatic" (constant variable transmission)

The only downside was, it was vacuüm operated, so you would stomp on it to take off, get to top speed and let off
The moment you let off the vacuum changed, causing the transmission to 'upshift' and the car to accelerate

(Couldnt find an English version but if you got a mechanical mind ik sure you get the idea)

When Hooters was bought out by an investment firm, things started going downhill quickly. The quality of the food was first, then the prices shot up quicker that a rocket launch. I used to eat lunch at various places and got out for less than a twenty dollar bill. These days, it costs almost twice that and there is no alcohol involved.
