I dunno, I grew up in Connecticut but my parents were from Ohio. We called it "pop", and it seemed to be in use here (not just our family). Although a lot of people do call it "soda" here. That's only funny west of the Mississippi.

I guess "west of the Mississippi" wasn't exactly what Eric meant? My wife grew up in Connecticut. She's standing right here. She says she's never heard anyone in Connecticut say "pop" for "soda."
People from Ohio, on the other hand...

I actually know someone who thinks the earth is flat, and the U.S. government took down the world trade centers, and we did not go to the moon, and when you see an airliner way up in the air trailing a white stream of water vapor it is really the government dumping mind control drugs into the air. Plus, he believes a lot more insane crap from the internet. I used to like him, but I can't stand to be around him anymore. He starts arguing this crazy crap with you and WILL NOT STOP!
I guess "west of the Mississippi" wasn't exactly what Eric meant?
This sign needs to be placed around every race track in the world, maybe it will stop tracks from being closed due to the idiots that buy property close to them and the "*****" about the noise!![]()
here's the deal man, and i'm not tryin' to come down on you or nothing, but details matter in things like this. things that you may think are inconsequential could be the difference between several thousand dollars and an easy sale or a 900 car that you can't get rid of.
is it actually a 273? it could be any number of other small blocks. what flavor is it: 2 barrel? 4bb barrel? is it stock? what work has been done. the same with the transmission. is it what came with the car or has it been swapped or upgraded in some way? what makes it "kinda special"?
how does it run and drive? "the engine and tranny are in great shape" doesn't mean it's road worthy.
what's the rest of it like? are the brakes stock or have they been upgraded? does it have three different brand tires on it? do you have to jump it every time you want to move it?
get some pics and provide us with more information and we can help you navigate the sale a little better.
and here's a little tip: clean out the car and take decent pictures that are current when you list it. crappy photos don't sell cars and dirty cars invite people to low ball the **** out of you.
We had this here in Sydney from the 1920 we had speedway racing on a clay track at the Showgrounds where the agricultural shows were held each year , housing was built near it over the years by 1980’s the cars and bikes had to have silencers fitted, then by 2000 all racing was moved to outer suburbs, again still with silencers a lot of concerts that were held at the original site were banned then the agricultural shows went due to the noise and the smells of the animals, now in the last few years they are trying to close down the concerts and shows at the new location due to noise and the increase in housing. This sign needs to be placed around every race track in the world, maybe it will stop tracks from being closed due to the idiots that buy property close to them and the "*****" about the noise!![]()
