gas caps

I own a 1970 Plymouth Duster, missing its gas cap. A friend of mine had a 72 340 duster and gave me the cap off of it when he put on a locking cap. Thing is, it doesn't fit my 70 or my 75. What is the difference in the caps? Has anyone else noticed this problem?

Don't know anything about that. My 1970 duster has the cap from a dart on it (it came that way when I bought it). I'll take pictures of the cap and the filler tube when I get home, maybe it will help you find one that will fit.
