Here's what I have. It appears they have two different
cable lengths to choose from.

I have not forgot about you here. Trying to make sure you get one that fits correct. I found a few more also.

I have found the short pedal is correct for your 72.
The longer pedals are on earlier cars 68 to 70.

Looking the shorter pedal assembly over close and noticed it has a broken mounting bolt. I could repair it before putting it in a box or you could find a different part if you prefer. If repairing the bolt is acceptable for you I could sell the part for 15.00+ shipping. I would need to know which engine you have to ensure the cable is the correct length also.

340 is the engine are you going to press out the stud and press a new one in??

That or swap the pedal pad onto a problem free assembly. I have several.
Not sure on the shipping till I can take it up to the post office.

other than the stub the assembly is problem free isn't it? I would prefer it b pressed out and another one pressed in

Studs are welded in. I'm afraid you will need to find
another assembly as I can't make an undetectable
repair. I could drill the stud out put I can't press a replacement out of another assembly without damaging it. You could put a bolt thru but it would not be factory exact. I only have the one short pedal assembly the rest I have are for older models.
