Gas tank drain?

Putting a new gas tank in my car. Would a provision for a drain of some type be a good idea? If so what to use? Radiator petcock or something else? Thanks for any help.

Weld a 1/8 or 1/4-NPT bung onto it at the lowest point. Plug it with a flush allen-head plug.

Just thinking about easy way to drain it if you had a full tank and had to pull the tank for some reason.

I put one in a tank I built, and it came in handy already too. Couple pinholes that did`nt show up during test. I used a ball valve and plug.
