I ordered two Autometer gauges about a month ago.

My original plan was to make up a panel to mount them under my dash. Shortly After I ended up cutting my hand (on another project) and spent the afternoon in the local Urgent Care.

So I decided to order these gauge cups and go about it that way. Since I wouldn't be able to make up a panel any time soon.

I got them today and ran in to a few issues:

1: The guages dont fit all the way down in the cup. The long brass studs on the back of the gauge bottoms out in the cup.

2: There is no hole in the back of the cup for a grommet to pass wires through. There is a long slot in the bottom of the cup but it doesn't work out too well.

3: The package only contains the cup and the ring that goes around the cup, there is no foot on the bottom to mount it to anything.

Whats the deal, Did I order the wrong cup? :help:

Call em up. I think you are missin a few parts, especially the mounting foot.

I just tried to call them, they are closed on the weekends.

This is a picture of one I found on E-bay, it is a 3204 (mine are 3202) it has the hole in the back I am looking for but... no foot.

Why dont they come with a foot? What am I missing?

Returned the cups, I was not happy with them.

Spent some time with my plasma cutter, I am going to install them tomorrow.

This is for everyone on this site, if you have an issue with an Auto Meter
product, please shoot me a PM and I'll see what I can do to help. I designed
most of the instruments you guys are using. I don't work there anymore, but
am still in constant contact with my friends in Sales and Engineering.
