gear box??????

I have got an 71 dart swinger that i would like to take for power gear box to manual. i got a manual gear box for a B body car. are they the same as an A body.??????

Gearbox is the same. Pitman arm is not. I don't know what yaer box you have but 71 should be small sector.

Thanks .. thats what i was thing but it does not hurt to ask before i do this . year of the gear box ?????? i bought it at a swap meet some years ago and i just hung on to it. knowing it would become useful some day.
