So I've got this 741 case that has been sitting open and dry for about a decade and a half or more. Sold the R&P out of it the other day, to a member here. Man, the gear lube stink that thing released when I cracked the caps loose and unbolted the ring gear. Just the little bit that came out with the cap and ring bolts stunk up the whole garage.... Amazing stuff.
