Too close to Detroit, lol
I can't decide, right now have 3.91's in my 78 Magnum with 215 70 15 rear tires which spec at 26.8 inches. Around town it seems great--has too much power then it needs. Came close to losing my license, lol so no more wot in on the secondary roads, ha ha (i only floored it in 1st gear and chirp the tires loudly in to 2nd, cop lied and said the squeal was another motorist slamming on their brakes, was in a 45 mph zone--he lied again and said I went 40 in a 25 zone by my home-nothing about speeding in the 45 zone-he twisted everything around)

So I'm thinking of making the car more so for long hauls on the freeways. Got a good set of used 3.23 Richmans from the 90's it used to have in it. But this car might squeeze in 265 70 15 rear tires which are 29.5 inches. But the tires are heavier than what I got on it now.

I also have a TCI 10 inch streetfighter converter, 3,000 stall but feels pretty tight when at light throttle.

Engine is a 340 10 to 1 compression

If you want to keep out of trouble. Use the 3.23s with the tall tire. You
won't chirp the tires so often.
I had 3.91 in the Duster. Every time you hit second they would turn.
When I put the 3.23s in it went away. Hwy is great for mileage.
When I want to play now, I have a set of 4.56s to use at the strip.
I can change then out in about an hour and a half.
