GenIII Hemi & Supra 5-speed?

I posted this in the New Hemi Swap section, but thought it might be a good idea to post it here for a perspective from more driveline specific tech input.

I know guys have been putting the Supra trans behind small blocks, but not sure what model. Is the Supra trans strong enough to handle ~500HP? Will it handle full throttle clutch drops? What bellhousing does it require if it's feasible?

It's a Toyota R154 I believe.

It uses a Stock Bellhousing from a Dodge Dakota (3.9L or 5.2L)

EDIT : Not sure what mods are required to mate a Gen III to a Small Block Bell. The Gen III guys can chime in there.

The Bellhousing? About $100 used. The transmission, I have no idea.

There's a member right here on FABO who's selling a Complete R154 "Kit" though, its got the Bell, Transmission, Clutch Fork, etc to work in a Small Block application

I think it should handle the power, they are pretty well known for being "heavy" and taking alot of abuse.
