getting a truck that needs help

hi guys my brother found a 74 dodge adventurer swb fleetside 360/auto it had a small electrical fire under the dash by the fuse block in which we plan on replacing the dash harness i was wondering will other yr harnesses work say 77,78,79? there is a wrecking yard here that has a bunch of these trucks in it just want to know how much will interchange the dash seems to be the same 74-79 also he is looking for a nice tailgate with the adventuer chrome trim

should be a direct plug and play, I've used a 74 harness on a 78 dodge truck and it plugged right in.
