I do remember that some said it couldn't be don't but here you go. A stud girdle and a crank scraper (up and down with Teflon blade) all in the milodon road race oil pan.

Cram a windage tray in there too.

That is a disc that rebuilders use to tell if a motor has been over heated. If you run it hot the low temp center melts out of it. It more or less tells you there is no warranty when the center melts out.
 
Just about closed up.

So remove that freeze plug, put in a regular one, and if the engine blows up, put it back in. Then you keep your warranty.... :D
 
The sump seems awfully wide. What chassis is this going in?


....and out of curiosity, who was it that aid this couldn't be done? One of our legendary "forum experts" I bet.

Going in my 70 Duster with a 73+ k frame and steering linkage.


It was someone who shall remain a nameless expert.
