Gold Duster

-

Essentially a trim option, yes.

According to my Sourcebook, the 1972 Gold Duster package consisted of:
- 5 1/2" wheels
- whitewall tires
- special wheel covers
- drip moldings
- special interior trim
- color-keyed carpets
- gold rear deck tape stripes
- distinctive Gold Duster decals
- FREE canopy-style vinyl top in special gold reptile grain (with all body colors compatible with gold, black boar grain for all other body colors)

The 1973 through 1975 models carried similar (if not identical) features. In 1976, the Silver Duster debuted which was another trim package in much the same vein as the Gold Duster, just painted silver. :)

Thanks Dave.

I somehow missed this when you posted it and just found it today.

What book was this?

What book was this?

It's titled: Duster/Demon A Source Book. It reprints (in black and white) original ads and sales brochures and puts them together by year. The printing isn't of the greatest quality but for the price, it can't be beat.
