Sorry you are not happy with that tank.... I will refund your money to you on that deal...The part I don't get is you asked for a good rust free tank and you wanted to spend no more than $50.00 including shipping..... I sold a rust free tank to you for $25.00 so you could get your sons car on the road. Now you tell me that the tank is unacceptable because it has tree dents in the bottom ( not big ones I might add) because it will show on this (restoration ) you Are doing? I'm helping my son restore a 70 duster and we put a new tank in it because we wanted it to look real nice.... But I paid alot more than $25.00 for it. I said the one I sent to you was a good tank rust free and it is. But I think it is unreasonable to expect NOS concours parts for driver part price.

gary, I wasnt as concerned with the outside as much as I was on the inside because I thought that if the outside was nasty, I could clean it up and shoot some aluminum paint on it. But it doesnt matter if I gave a dollar or a hundred dollars for it. I would have liked to know what the condition of it was. the pics you sent showed a great looking tank. you could have mentioned the 3 dents on the bottom side. I was ready to buy a new one until I thought I was getting a tank that was in great shape. when you sell something to someone, tell them all the story. when they ask for pics, show them the bad side as well as the good side and let them make up their mind if that part will work for them. I am no different than anyone else on this site. I want to get as good of a deal as I can but I need to know what I am buying. I asked you for pics. you sent me what you wanted me to see. Now if you want to give me a refund, do it. If not, I have learned a lesson. There will be no phone call and a confrontation. You have my paypal address. I thought this tank was too good to be true.
 
yeah Gary, you returned half of it. I guess I will pay for the shipping for a tank that has dents in it the size of my fist.. Thats cool.
 
I doubt it. they are in weird places. one is in the corner and it would be hard. I am just going to have to buy a new one. I should have done that in the first place but te pic he sent me looked like an almost new tank. and it was on the good side. but the bottom has 3 dents in it. I wouldnt have bought it if I had seen the other side. I learned a lesson here. maybe others will to if they deal with him. They better.thanks
 
Your slander is not very cool.... I returned your money to you and yet you want more No one returns shipping costs what planet are you from.....The dents are not bad at all for a driver tank .... for $25.00 you got a good useable tank.......Enough with this beating around the bush and posting that I cheated you and may cheat others......You are a bitter cheapskate that thought he could get a $130.00 tank for $25.00 ......unreal
 

didnt slander you. didnt say you cheated. just spoke the truth. I got a tank I cant use. I learned a cheap lesson. I expected a refund of shipping costs for something I cant use. If I wanted a $130.00 tank, I would have bought the one on ebay for $119.00 which I am going to do. I have cut that one up and sending it to the scrap yard with the rest of the junk I have accumulated. I have no hard feelings against you Gary. In fact I am as much to blame as you are. I went back and looked at the way I worded the request for parts and I left myself wide open for this. I was more worried about rust on the inside than the looks on the outside. I just didnt think that someone would slip a dented tank in on me but I take responsibility and I will ask your forgiveness if you thought I was saying you cheated me. I learn something everyday. You have a blessed day and I wish you well on your resto with your son. Bill
