Good Distributor

-
I thought you had a new one? Are you sure your problem is the distributor?

I want to get something that I can get parts for at the local parts store so if something screws up I can fix it on the side of the road.

Then use a stock Mopar distributor and put lighter springs in it and adjust your timing curve.

I've never had an issue with a stock Mopar unit. Mine is a stock Dizzy and im running a higher CR and hotter cam than you are and it hasn't failed me once...sometimes all that hot rod garbage (MSD, etc) hinders a man. Trust a little in Ma'Mopar, she built factory hot rods pounding the crap out of Chebbies and Mustangs in the day on stock parts.

It could be, what I'm saying is the HEI re-curve kit works in my SBM dizzy, gives you 3 different size springs.
