its a birth defect. should be correctable. rylee ( my daughter) had it when she was born. you would never know it now. other things can be associated with it also.. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Club_foot

I also had a club foot when I was born. Had the surgery when I was 4 and had the shoes with the steel brace between them. You would never know when I was younger that I had a club foot.
Fast foreward 50 years, now the achillies tendon is calcified where the surgery was and it caused a small tear in the tendon, where it attaches the the back of your heel, that never gets better. I lost all flexability in my foot and have a hard time walking. That's why I haven't gone to the Mopar Nats in 5 years, can't do all the walking.It can't be repaired and is extreamly painful.
