Got Paint on My 63 Dart Racecar Finally

I finally got some color on my 63 Dart project.. It has been at the paint shop for almost 5 months..it was worth the wait.all the rear quarters were changed,rust was cut out on every peice of the car and replaced with new metal..braces behing the front fenders were rebuilt..final color is Light Metallic blue..here are the pictures todate...Oh... also bought a tunnel ram last week to put on my 572ci Indy Maxx motor.... http://share.shutterfly.com/action/welcome?sid=8QZOXDNmxcssa

Wow, NICE job! That's going to be beautiful once she's done.
 
I can't wait to see that motor in that car. That is going to be a sick Dart.

Bet your looking at 9's easy
 
i think we are more in line with 8.6-8.8 at about 155mph...as long as the car comes in at 3000lbs or under it will get into the 8's easy...but with the new tunnel ram coming it may add about 40hp so it may get close to the NHRA certification of 8.5
