Grant Steering Wheel .. Need Help!!

I need help. 1974 Duster, putting in the Grant classic steering wheel. The adapter kit has a wire, I know one end goes on the new steering wheel but where does does the other end go in the column????

Get a terminal crimp it on and tighten it down under one of the bolts for the collar adapter. Its for grounding the horn button to the column.

so the copper post in the steering column leave it alone?

The copper post is probably your horn contact for the back of the center hub for the wheel.
As stated above, one wire goes to ground and the other to the horn button on the steering wheel.

You could probably find a video online.

I think I understand now, some of the videos and posts I found elsewhere were confusing. Thank you both for your help Ill post results tomorrow, as I'm painting the dash and the gauge cluster before I actually put the new steering wheel on.
