Is there a magic way to store grease guns to keep them from leaking everywhere?

I use mine maybe once a year and every time I go to grab it, I spend more time cleaning it up than actually using it. Tell me I'm not alone on this!

Your not alone! The oil and Paraffin separates after a while and just makes a mess. there’s a few ways to keep the mess contained but it’s gonna happen regardless unless you unload it after each use.
Some store it in a bucket or in some old socks or wrapped in rags.

Storage pictures on the net if you search........

5 gallon bucket, guns hanging on the side. I have 1/2 of the lid cut off with holes drilled in the part lid that's left.....That's where the funnels go:)

Just thinking outside the box...
Get a mini fridge and keep them in there. The cold will keep the grease more solid.

Or

Toss the grease out and buy new every year
