I just want to thank Motor68 for being a really cool guy.
I had been contacting Jim through craigslist and through FABO for a while now, threatening that I was actually going to, gasp, pick up his power steering pump and bracket for sale. It ended up me not having the cash at the right time, or other things came up like buying tires for my MINI that blew a couple out. Well, I contacted Jim today about the power steering pump and bracket again, and finally got to his house to pick 'em up.
He gave me a tour of his garage and Demon, and deservingly teased me a bit about not getting in contact with him before. His Demon is a thing of beauty and I'm really excited to see the outcome of his 44 MB Willy's.
After that even, he gave me some sound advice about career choices when I inquired. He's an all-around great guy and really understanding!
