I used greyhound years ago--- they now have an online calculator-- is that accurate or does the price change drastically when you take an item in.
prices have definantley went up---.
i'm trying to quote shipping a deck lid-- & want to get as accurate info as possible --so there be no hidden items, Lawrence

I bought a deck lid for my 64 Barracuda froma guy in California, the shipping via Greyhound was $53.25.

FF

I would get it crated/pkgd and take it to the bus station for an accurate quote. Something that size you might be way off using their "calculator"

It was pretty accurate for me when I sent a fender. I think it was even a bit cheaper when I dropped it off.

the greyhound calculator is pretty accurate.

Whenever I've had a situation where the counter price was different, I mention the calculator said $X and they usually adjust it.

There is a longest length deal and that number definitely affects the total. Shorter the better

thanks guys for the input,, i'll get some measurements, dart decklids are not small, Lawrence
