Thank you, I cut the front facing completely out then covered the whole dash with fiberglass then cut the holes for the gauges,stereo and heater controls where I wanted them.

Do you know how much space I should have between the bump stop?

I don't - but the torsion bar front end is stout - you've got room to play with there - I would bet you can come down a full inch and never bounce off the bumpers
