GTS Wheel Cover Help - fit onto 15" Wheel?

I recall seeing someone here saying you could use a 15” outer portion of a particular Ford wheel cover and install it onto the center portion of the 14” 68/69 GTS/Swinger 340 wheel cover, allowing you to use these on 15" wheels.
Any thoughts on this? Seen or Done it?
I’ve been scrolling through eBay and FB ads trying to determine if I could figure out which ones,
It might have been a certain year(s) ford truck cover, but I can’t remember.
I don’t want to be blindly ordering sets of classic wheel covers.

I hate the thought of giving up on these, though I did have to make that decision knowingly when I went with the “Cordoba” rotors & calipers up front. Hanging onto the hope.

I'd contact a wheel builder to see if they have 15" outer hoops that will work with 14" centers and build you some custom wheels.....or heck, if they have 17" outer hoops to work with 14" centers. paint the wheels satin black and near the outer rim paint a red or blue stripe to make them look like redline or blue streak tires from 20'

Originally, I had posted these for sale, noting how I hated giving up on them. I think somebody replied with the info I referenced above. I went back through my old posts, and found my listing, but because I had tagged it as sold to prevent further inquiries, apparently it only leaves the initial listing without additional posts or replies. Also, it MAY NOT have even been that particular listing, I may have done something like deleting one thread/post in favor of writing up a better one, who knows, it was a few years ago. I figured I would post this out here hoping to catch someone's eye that might know. Maybe I might throw a line out on FBBO, maybe it came from there.

I suspect they may have been referring to the 15” Ford mag wheel covers. I’ve planning to try it with the Plymouth mag wheel covers. Not sure with your Dodge wheel covers, but I bet they are similar.
