I’m putting some LED strip lights in my safe as I’m tired of all the issues with battery lights.

Can I wire two separate LED power supplies in parallel on the DC output side so I only have to use one switch to control both LED banks? Each LED bank requires 24 watts and I have two 24 watt driver/power supplies. My concern is that each power supply is individually fed by a standard AC 120 volt plug and I wonder if parallel wiring the DC outputs would somehow inadvertently result in parallel wiring the AC inputs. Hope that made sense.

Am I safe doing this? All wire being used is overkill on the DC side (14 ga.) and the switch is rated at 20 amps (max total output of combined power supplies is 4 amps).

Appreciate any thoughts or advice.

You can run 120 VAC into a properly rated switch and then feed the output of that switch into each of the power supplies. This is the simplest solution. There shouldn't be any need to parallel the output of the 24 VDC supplies, unless I'm not getting what you are asking. It's been a while since I paralleled output of individual DC supplies, but I think you want to have some diodes in there to prevent feedback.

I need to switch the DC side. Here’s a very rough wiring diagram of what I want to do.
