ok just a quick question. what do people prefer for gutter putty? i had to clean the gutters out on my 65 barracuda only because the gutter was rusty and holy.

I use seam sealer.
Just be sure it is paintable
I like this stuff for exposed exterior seams : https://www.3m.com/3M/en_US/company...-Repair-Material/?N=5002385+3293242393&rt=rud Getting a nice even bead the length of the drip rail can be tricky some times. With this product, if you screw up and don't apply it as smoothly as you want, it is easily sanded to get it to the shape you want. Most other two component seam sealers are hard to sand and the urethane type seam sealers are not really sandable at all. Use a epoxy or 2k primer under it.

ok thanks everybody, i have seam sealer and i might try the 3M product, sandable is good.
