Ready to install, Dudek assembled, OEM Hemi engine
Up for auction is a 1968 dated 426 HEMI, engine is completely rebuilt and was painted with paint I bought from Roger Gibson. I`m listing this engine for a buddy of mine although I did assemble it myself. My name is Carrie Ryder and i`ve done several engine build ups for several different magazines. (Mopar Muscle, Mopar Action, Musclecar Review, etc) This is a stock rebuild, finish bore is 4.320, the Mopar Performance resto cam was degreed in at 107.5, valve lash was set at .018 intake & .020 exhaust, lift at valve came in at .458intake and .480exhaust. Valve spring pressure came in at 140lbs at the seat and 350lbs open, installed 1.890. Rods were completely reconditioned and ARP rod bolts were used, they were torqued to .007stretch. Small ends came in at .0009 and the bearing clearance on the rods came in at .0022. The mains came in as follows: #1. .0020 2. .0021 3. .0027 4. .0022 5. .0020 . Diamond 10 1/4 to 1 pistons, new HV oil pump, correct timing cover, water pump, and intake bolts were used, rocker assy was near new, rings were all gapped by hand (standard tension rings), heat sheild used on bottom of intake, new timing chain, etc,etc. Overall a nice stock rebuild was done.

Seems like a scam.... but on the other hand I dont know... If he said it was a race Hemi then I would say yes but who knows otherwise :/

He want's $63,000.00 for it. It's a glitch with craigslist, I see it happen a lot.
 
Yeah something up it's on my local craigslist right now too here in Roseburg Oregon. Its either a scam or like someone else said a typo but if it's a typo that guy has got to be off his rocker thats just a crazy price.
 
sounds like a similar deal that i got involved in about nine yeaars ago.
only cost me the price of my first house
