Yep very happy today, got my 96 cubic inch SS motor installed
and running. Its been a long haul. I got robbed a year ago
last december had 2 dirt bikes stolen, my 1959 pan head harley
and the engine from this bike was on my bench for some maintanence
and it got stolen with of course around 20 thousand in tools.
So I did not do any riding last summer , but I did manage to save some
money and I bought an old run down chopper for a good price
that had this great not running at the time big inch SS motor. So with many
hours of actual fun I pulled the motor from the chopper and made it fit
my bike and I fired it up today. Very very happy I will be riding soon.
Well I did take it for a little ride today but not far and not long as
its not insured and the plate is out of date but she will be legal by the weekend. "Im so excited I just cant hide it bla bla bla bla bla........"

Awsome! Glad to hear you got it up and running again. The motor is a nice upgrade! Once you have it all squared away this weekend, go for a nice long ride and enjoy it!

Thats a very nice looking bike! You deserve some cruising time this summer after your recent run of bad luck. Now hit the road and leave it all behind. Enjoy!

What a great ending to a bad starting story. "made it fit" that's the part I like the best. That's what it's all about.

Wish I had mine running. Getting closer to finishing the wiring nightmare. Seems like whenever I do have the time to get out there and work on it I just have 0 interest in working on it. If it was not for the wife pushing me I would have just rolled it into the corner and threw a cover on it by now....
