Hard acceleration, hard braking stalls ??

First car resto so Im learning as I go. hard braking and hard acceleration seem to starve the car for gas. Floats? Is there a way to adjust this?

Just set the floats to barely trickle out the sight levels. You may have a 5/16 feed if using a stock sender,no bueno there.

My Holley has no sights on it.
