Has anyone looked into offering an App version of FABO

I have been a member of R3vlimited and bimmerforum for years and they both offer an app version from "tap a talk" for updating and posting from a smart phone.
This makes posting and following updates easy, and as a wrench in the garage posting up pic's while under the car a breeze as opposed to taking phone pic's converting them to my laptop then posting up.. Just a thought...

I have NO affiliation to the link below. But i have used it for years with the two forums I listed above and had zero to no issues with them...

I can post photo's straight from my phone to the forum, piece of cake. The current software works better on a phone by itself than tapatalk does.

I actually have met the founder of tapatalk. I know the software well, and frankly, don't like it. Among other things I have security concerns with third party apps that give so much access to the site to someone else.

Recently, a competitor to tapatalk, forumrunner, is believed to have been the source of a massive hack of 1100 car forums owned by VerticalScope. (45m passwords stolen from over 1,100 VerticalScope forums) ---- So you can see why I don't like the idea of turning over such access to a third party software company, especially one based in China.

That said, this site was designed specifically to be mobile friendly and not need tapatalk or any other app.

Ok thank you. I did not know that and will experiment with it on my phone.
I also was not aware of the tap a talk hacks..
Looks like I'm getting rid of at least one app tonight. Thanks for the heads up...! :-D

Just to be 100% clear -- It wasn't Tapatalk that was believed to be the source of the breach, but a competitor of tapatalk.

I'm a Droid knida guy... Used my Note 4 for uploading my pictures to the Garage link on here and it worked bitchin.... So I'm cool, Its' all good...

I hated Tapatalk and uninstalled it soon after getting it.

Didn't show the forum chatbox I used to use (not an issue here), and it was devoid of soul....just made the forum look too damn clinical.
