After pricing a factory AIr Grabber parts, I'm considering having a friend that owns a sheet metal shop make a custom one for me, with a cable instead of vacuum actuation.
Has anyone thought about or made their own version of the "Air Grabber " ??

It would take a bit of work, but doable. I was looking at an air grabber at a show recently and thought a linear actuator would work well to open one. Something like in this link. It could be controlled with a one touch power window unit to be auto up/down, self stopping!

Air grabbers are amazing.. I wish I had one.. good luck! Im consider building my own as well!! But I'm gonna rock the dual snorkel for now
when I first got my Volare (yeah I know.... F body) I was admiring a kit I saw advertised for them, for a "shaker" that was based off the E body ones but scaled "just right" for an F body.... IDK if still available, but at the time I wanted one so bad.... shoulda bought one just to have.... probably a dozen or so years ago at least.
