an NV3500 out of a later model ram, is ther an issue using a early 318 flywheel with the truck clutch? is the pilot bushing the same? is there a way to use an aftermarket master cyinder? I see alot of info on the T5 swap but nothing about the NV3500, has anyone even attempted it? I know its geared kinda trucky but its going in somewhat of a truck so...

any input is apperciated
LATER!

i amnot a tranny swap expert, but i would say the trans is physically too big to go in a car. i have a buddy that we put a nv4500 out of a diesel in his jeep tj and we had to do a 2" body lift to clear it! i have a jeep tj with a 3550 in it. i have to pull it out to replace a bad throwout bearing. i could get some measurements for you maybe. interesting question though!

thanks for the input, I have actually changed direction already and use a actual truck for towing....a '74 Courier. It has sentimental value, 4.56s, and are still pentiful in general wrecing yards soo...soon to rectified with mopar drivetrain (my built 318 and an NV3500) so this Idea to tow my neon to the track with my dart kinda went out the window. I know its not a a mopar but looking @ what it is, this should be cheaper and a better platform for what I want/need to do.
