As some of you know,
I let my friend Bill, Drive the Dart last year because the trans failed in his Trans Am.
He is a good driver, can cut a light, so I let him drive the rest of the year
he finished with 3 Final round wins.
This year, he wanted a new engine to go as fast as the Dart
So, We built an engine close to spec of the Dart engine.
We think it will be interesting, will be "More Fun"
runnin fender to fender.
Car Specs. > of course list the Dart FIRST...lol
Both have 4.10 gears and 275 et pro
4500 vs 3800 converter
727 vs T350
446 vs 434 ci
14.2 vs 12.7 comp
.650 vs .630 lift > roller cam
E-85 950 cfm carb
We don't have the weights yet, due to all the changes recently made to both ( added More roll bar to the Dart
TA doesn't have cage yet.)
All this work, doesn't mean No play...
I put my spare valve covers on his engine, to cover the engine, He should know I only have mopar parts in my shop...
I wrote him a note on his converter, when he changes it
" Mopar The REAL heart breaker
because After he took his car home, I swapped engine in the Dart to a Indy Headed 449
Swapped the Dana 4.10 to a Dana 4.56 with 325 x 60 -15 et pro
Also sealed the carb to the hood and changed headers to 2" oval port
We need to finish his fuel system, then its a night of Fun
