Head liner replacement after glass is in ??

I have a 71 dart swinger I have both front and rear glass out now I. would like to postpone replacing the head liner any issues with installment around the rubber gasket later. Thanks

I was looking at doing mine and found this article....glass is in...

I did mine with the glass in. Just pull the rubber back and hook it on the barbes. A flat paint stiring stick helped to push the liner on to the brabes. The side window trim will need to be off though.
