I have a chance to pick up this head. I was wondering about the rust. Do you think it would be ok, or possibly a cracked water jacket? I'm at work so I can't look at a head and check where water runs thru it. Here info on head:
Here I have a Slant Six, /6, Slant 6 Performance Cylinder Head for sale! I wanted to use it, but have no use for it now so am forced to sell it.
-Swirl Polished Ford 300 Valves
-340 Valve Springs
-Bowl Porting
-Ported and Polished
This Cylinder Head was on a Turbo'd 225 Slant Six before I bought it, the guy I bought it from said it ran great, lot's of power! This Cylinder Head will be the most important improvement that you can add on to the leaning tower of power! So much Power is withheld in these slant six heads and with some porting, polishing, bowl work, etc...what I am trying to say is this will wake up your /6!
Here are some Pics. There is one port where it seems it might have been running rich and has some stuff on the walls with some surface rust, but that's not bad at all.
