Guides need cut n trimmed for positive seals and retainer/seal clearance then cut spring seat step for a double spring ...then the right springs, I'd use the Herbert SO84-283 1.437 roller springs @ 80 something dollars...but find out what installed height pressure and open pressure they call for...or simply buy the lunati springs they make for that cam.
Look into some bowl work, porting to get them into a healthy flow.
