Ok maybe the title was a bit misleading but it got you in here :bootysha::bootysha:

Which stock cast heads are the best? I have a set of 452's but a guy called me today wanting to trade me for a set of 906's that have been machined. Are these a better set of heads? Whats the difference. What were the good heads on these mopars?

I don't know about those but the 915's were the best because of heart shape combustion chambers..8)

There has been much debate over the years on the "best" big block head. The advantage to the "452" is the factory hardened exhaust seats. As far as performance and flow, there is very little difference between the "906" and "452". The "915" flows about the same, but will raise your compression ratio due to the closed chamber desing and smaller chamber. These can also be good if you are building an engine with quench in mind.

The reality is that none of these heads are appreciably better than another as long as they all have the larger exhaust valve (some "915" heads still had the small valves).
