Well I am headed to the scrap yard in search of some 10" x 2.5" or some 11" x 2" rear drums and possibly some front disc brakes / control arms from a 73 or newer Duster. Anyone need some odds and ends, owner of the yard is a bundler more you buy the better the deals get? Any other scrappers have any tips on what I should be looking for? Looking for some rear brakes to go on this Dana. Might be sticking with the Mopar pattern ends if I can find some rebuildable rear brakes...

Enjoy

Ya I need front brakes for my demon! Lookin for late 70's 11.75" like off st Regis or so everything between the upper and lower arms. Where is il are you? I'm in Aurora IL, nothing older than 1995 in these yards! LMK ...

Same thing I was after, pretty picked over. Apparently there are other mopar guys in my area... :violent1: Found 4 dusters all stripped minus one with front drums like mine. I will keep looking though. Couple more trips to go, thinking the loaded 10x2.5 plates off ebay and a new set of drums from the parts store @ $30 a piece sounds like a good plan!!

That seems to be why more and more folks are using parts from newer cars on their older muscle cars. cheap and easy to find! I haven't found squat worth using in a bone yard in a while, all that crap seems to get crusherized anymore.

I got the spindles off that satellite, that was fun... There are a couple late 70's and one 80 diplomat out there I plan to pull spindles off of as well once the owner makes them accessible. The 80 is sitting on top of a bus at the moment. Don't think I want to be climbing around trying to pop the front end loose with it up there! Any significant differences between the M and B body spindles? Rock Auto shows them both as only having the 10.98" rotors, was hoping to find some 11.75", but don't know which cars came with them?
