For members in the Manitoba area, I just got my 10 year old headers back from having NIC "Chromex" ceramic coating applied.. Will post pictures up later but they look fantastic..

The best part was they were done in Manitoba , at a shop in Tyndall, Manitoba- DI Coatings or Tyndall Autobody. Matt Stevenson runs the shop and uses oven cured product , not the air dry stuff.

Cost for the pair of long tube hooker headers , taxes and all costs in 355.00

Just in case you did not know there was a place to get this done in Manitoba!

Pictures after a little polishing.

Thanks

early last year I had cleaned them to bare metal and then painted with a name brand header high heat paint.. Obviously I did something wrong because as soon as I fired the motor up the paint started flaking..

That won't happen again! Very excited, waiting for some warm weather to re install.

-33 degrees celcius last night

Looks good. You didn't do anything wrong with the paint. 2000 degree paint or whatever is a joke on headers. You should see it on a turbo manifold!
