I bought a set of Summit headers for my 74 duster and on the left side my steering column coupler rubs. i think the steering drag link is pretty close too. any ideas?

What kind of shape are your motor mounts in?

A lot of times they are worn out, causing the motor to lean one way or another.

Like said above check those motor mounts first. You might also want to make sure your engine sits in the car correctly. TTI has the dimensions in their Inistallation Instructions (link at the bottom of the page):

I had to put shims between my motor mounts and k-frame to get the engine in the right location. There are also thicker motor mounts available that can raise the engine some:

Thanks for the tip. I will check into it and give you an update. anyone run 3" dual exhaust? i am curious the best way to route it.

The holes in the motor mounts in the K are slotted; shift it to right. And I have used 1/4" spacer to raise left side.

I did notice that slotted mount on the left side. the motor mounts were new when i put the engine in. so i will have to try to shim up that side to help make some room in there. that sure is a tight fit in there.:boxing:
