I have a 1973 360 with Trick Flow 190 power port heads going in a 1969 Barracuda. I found some Hooker competition headers used but they won't fully bolt flush to the driver's side head because the #1 tube is against the head. I can either grind the head (don't want to do this), put a big dent in the header (not much better solution) or find a different set of headers for this set up. Can someone recommend a set of headers that will work with my set up without issue? Also what gaskets are recommended. The car has power steering and brakes, if that matters.

Thanks,

Brian

This issue crops up with exhaust manifolds frequently.
Just use a header flange as a spacer between the head and header and you'll be golden.

Edit: You'll probably need longer header bolts or studs (maybe 1/2" longer?).
