Headliner and vinyl top install

Working on a 68 Barracuda notchback and wondering if glass needs to come out for headliner or vinly top install?? And does the chrome trim need to come off on the outside around the glass for vinly top install??

I never tryed a headliner with the glass in and really cant see how you could do a good job with the glass in, There are teeth at both windshield openings and it would be hard to strech the liner with the glass in. I would say yes to both of your questions.
