Headliner Install Question

For those of you who have installed a bow-style headliner in one of these old Mopars, how much of the bow channel on the new headliner did you trim? In other words, how much of the bow do you leave hanging out before installing?

I trimmed as I went so the fabric was tight to the sides / just snip with a sharp pair of scissors/get your rear to front centered 1st

I cut the channel back about an inch from the end of the bow and I still had to cut it more on some of them while putting it in, so be prepared for that.

I was asking how much of the bow channels did you trim prior to hanging the headliner in place? As in - how much of the bows did you leave exposed on the backside?

My headliner was from legendary/ I might have snipped 1/2 in.near the opera lights and near the overhead seat belts. It was mostly spot on!!
