I just reinstalled the heater box in my 69 Dart yesterday. I took it out of the car in the fall of 2012 when I took the car apart for restoration (yes, almost ten years and still not back together but getting close). Anyway, I can't remember if there was supposed to be a ground wire attached to one of the blower motor studs under the hood. I bagged and tagged virtually everything when I took the car apart but if there was one, I don't know what became of it so I'll either have to find or make one. So, if there is supposed to be one, how long should it be, what color wire and where does it ground at?

Iirc there is not one on the inside of the engine compartment. There is a wire screwed to the heater box that runs over to the right kick panel area
Look at 8:00 and 8:55

Thanks. I know about the interior ground wire. That there isn't supposed to be one under the hood explains why I don't have one in my parts that I had tagged as I was pretty thorough identifying everything. I just wasn't sure being so much time has passed.

This is off my 67 dart, heater has never been out of the car.
