This foam rubber gasket was removed from my '68 Dart heater box. I'm reassembling the box, and I don't recall where it came from. It seems to be about the diameter of the fan motor, but it doesn't seem to fit tightly. Would someone be kind enough to supplement my failing memory?

There is a round foam rubber (your piece) the goes over the blower motor from the engine side, then the 4 bolt hole retainer goes over that, and gets fastened to the firewall sandwiching your seal around the blower motor.. IIRC, the cowl to heater box has a larger diameter.

Thx for the info.
