Re installing a different heater box ...non a/c...in the '69 Dart.
Any words of wisdom?..........is a total pain?.......lining up everything?

Will have front seat out to change out the tracks and thought this would be good time to do it.

Thanks

Build the box. It may be easier to lay it in place under the dash and attempt to install the cables if you can't get at them when the box is up under the dash. Feed the heater tubes through and stuff the box in place. Cake.

Thanks........that's one question I had........is if there is enough slack in the heater cables to install with box out or
does it have to be installed first?
There does seem to be some room to access top of heater box with the glove box insert out.

A second hand under the hood doesn't hurt to start the hardware. Be careful of the sharp Christmas tree spikes that retain the insulation under the dash. They can cut your hands up.

Up date...........got the box installed this morning with a helping hand.
Took front seat out and installed cables with box out.........went pretty smooth.
He fed box through firewall as I guided on the other side........the J bolt took a bit to get hooked up.
