Looking for a heater control bezel for a non-a.c. 72 Demon...Also looking for resto companies that may restore these and instrument panels / clusters.

Thanks,
John

They have a NOS one on eBay for $149...brilliant chrome

If you end up buying one and not restoring your own send me a message and I will purchase yours I don't think it looks too bad

I have a way of putting a stencil over the Braille lettering and bring it back pure white

That one pictured is now damaged.. I was experimenting on resto ( mainly the chrome )
and ended up dropping it. It cracked and I lost my ****...lol I ended up stomping on it. I had spent a long time stripping and painting, stripping and painting...each time masking off which is a PITA.. My problem, I'm a "perfectionist" but so damn far from being perfect. My friends tell me, hey that turned out nice, or that looks great, all the while I'm already planning on redoing it. I redid my dash frame 5 or 6 times...and finally said, "F" it and installed. Again, my buddy's say it looks great but I can't NOT focus on imperfections, no matter how small.

There's a printer tape that goes in German printers for marking fiber optic cable and I have a couple strips that can turn those Braille letters to Pure White

You'll get over that once it is in. When you are scouring over one square inch at a time it's easy to let small anomalies turn into big deals. After a while, you will forget what was bugging you, when you look at the big picture...........Unless, of course, you are building a 100 point show car.:)

Someone on here was saying that an eraser tip dipped in paint make a nice applicator for those small raised parts.

It's definitely been a learning process...and you're right. The interior is just about all back together and installed, and imperfections aside, there's a great satisfaction in knowing I've done everything by myself. Hell, even a few of the new repop stuff I've purchased is not even perfect. Some things from the factory weren't perfect or without blemishes.
As much time and effort I've put into it, it should be a 100 point car... Yep, 100 point expectations with a novice skill set...and budget..
